The blue dot appeared
for the first time on headphones in 1923. It was
considered a seal of quality that was given after
the product had undergone rigorous testing, and in
principle, nothing much has changed to this day. The
blue dot designated products of outstanding quality
at that time and continues to do so today. Since
Blaupunkt built the first car radio, the blue dot
has also represented the company's leadership in
