• Compatible with Blaupunkt aftermarket radios & navigation systems (produced after 2002) that feature CD changer interface, telephone mute & telephone line-in (see list below)
• Hide-away box connects to head unit by CD changer and remote / phone input sockets. (Cannot be used in conjunction with CD changer, iPod adaptor or auxiliary input cable (type 1))
• Not compatible with Blaupunkt factory-fitted radios or Apple iPhone
• Bluetooth telephone functions:
  • Accept calls, call reject, voice dialling (dependent on mobile phone), number redial functions possible
  • Supports Bluetooth HFP (Hands Free Profile) 1.2
  • Hands-free microphone included. Microphone includes noise reduction and echo cancellation features
  • Push To Talk button included allows control of call functions
  • Call status display on head unit (dependent on model of head unit)
  • Indication of phone numbers or names on the head unit is not possible
• USB interface features:
  • USB connection allows MP3 players, memory sticks or compatible hard drives to be connected to radio for playback of MP3 files
  • Compatible with bit rates up to 320 kBit/s and variable (auto-detected)
  • Power supply for USB devices (5V @ 500mA max) provided
  • USB file stores must be configured as mass storage devices and formatted FAT16 or FAT32

  • Track number / CD number / ID3 tag / file name displayed on compatible head units

  • Supports AADP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for transmission of audio data in MP3 format from a Bluetooth MP3 player and AVRCP  (Audio / Video Remote Control Profile) for control of Bluetooth audio units
